Finding a Career you LOVE

Like a lot of people in recruitment, I fell into it but I feel really grateful to have fallen into it & recruiting in an industry I love. When I was younger, all I wanted was to work in Fashion and thinking about my career in recruitment in the industry, it probably has been the best area of the industry for me to work in.

Fashion Career Consultancy was initially created to help people figure out their career goals quickly & give guidance, insight and tips on working in the industry. There are so many things I've learnt over the past 11 years of recruiting in the industry and I hope that FCC can help people at all levels and all areas of the industry.

I interviewed with Burberry when I was in University at 19 years old & I was convinced I was going to be moving to London and living my dream working for the ultimate fashion brand but that didn't happen and I didn't end up working for a fashion brand directly for another 7 years when I was 26 and got my job at Boohoo.

Burberry and Boohoo are worlds apart but looking back, Boohoo was my dream job at the time & it was everything I'd imagined working for a fashion brand to be and I'd also waited a long time to get a role in the industry so I was so excited to start and be part of it all.

I'm really passionate in helping people finding a career they love in the industry faster than I did by helping them look at their skills & what skills certain roles in the industry require and then tailoring your application & everything you do around that.

You spend most of your time in work so it's super important to try and find a career you truly love with a brand you love too!
